We are open school days from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. Or as posted.
Books are checked out for 3 weeks and may be renewed for another 3 weeks. Overdue books are charged a fine of $.10 per day. If a book is lost or damaged, the charge is the cost of the book plus a processing fee of $3.00. Other materials are charged late fees as follows:
- Videos/DVDs check out for 5 days, fine: $1.00/day
- Reference materials check out for overnight, fine: $.10/day
- AV equipment checks out for 1day, fine: $1.00/day
Borrowing privileges are suspended for those who have overdue materials or owe fines.
When printing from computers you will get 2 pages for free, and then the charge is $.05 for 1-2 pages. If you are in the library with a class that has booked to use the computers, you will get 4 pages for free. You may also trade clean, white, unwrinkled paper for printed material.
Our copy machine is old and cranky but still works. Copies are $.10 each. Black and white only.
Expectations:
- Food and drink are not allowed in the library except for authorized meetings.
- Those who use the library are expected to be courteous and respectful of others.
- A current CHS ID is required to check out materials.
We will gladly assist you with research, recommend books and help with technology.
