The Academy is designed to provide students with real-life learning opportunities through integrated academic and technical units in programs not already offered. Students who enroll in the Academy typically have a strong career interest in one or more fields being offered, and receive exposure to high-end and state-ofthe-art programs and services. These programs will be directly related to the preparation of high school students for the workforce, following industry standards that could lead to an AA degree for graduates. Through a diverse “mapping” of the curriculum,  students can expect challenging courses related to technology.
