| The study of American History helps students to understand the ideals, traditions and institutions which have shaped the development of American society. This course covers the core graduation requirements of United States History, but at a pace that allows for individualized learning. | ||||||||

| A required course intended to familiarize the student with the American economic system of free enterprise. The course will build the student’s consumer awareness as a participant in the economy. The student will learn about the topics of supply and demand, the different types of business organizations, credit and banking, national economy, taxes, government programs affecting the economy, advertising and the international economy. | ||||||||

| This course is designed for students who desire more challenge in their curriculum. In addition to skills covered in the regular World History course, the content of this course will be accelerated and enriched to provide the opportunity to explore historical content to a greater depth. Additional reading and writing outside the typical classroom will be required. | ||||||||

| This course is designed to challenge the more academically able student. In addition to skills covered in U.S. History course, the content will be more accelerated and enriched to provide an extensive study of U.S. History. This course of United States History follows the definite structure of the advanced placement curriculum. Students spend the year in study for the advanced placement history exam. Extensive supplemental reading and writing is required. This course may be offered online through the Idaho Digital Learning Academy if unable to be offered on campus. Please note that students will need to purchase their own textbooks and materials for this course if offered online. | ||||||||
